Membership
Membership at Grace Community Church represents a commitment to grow in God and to do His work in the church, the community and the world. As a member, you’ll be encouraged to develop an exceptional life through worship, service and training. God wants us all to grow in our relationship with Him. The primary purpose of Grace Community Church is to help you in this journey.
Committing to church membership is an important step in our spiritual growth. Membership provides us with a spiritual family to encourage us when times are hard, and to celebrate with us when things go well. Belonging to a church also makes it easier to get involved in God’s work, using the gifts and experiences He has provided. And lastly, belonging to a church family shows your commitment to Jesus Christ.
As a member of Grace Community Church, you’ll be encouraged to participate in our core programs:
Connect with God - Spending time in worship with other believers and spending time in prayer is vital to your own spiritual development. As we celebrate all God is doing in our lives, we strengthen our faith, vision and perspective of what is important in our daily lives. By coming together, we can also work more effectively as the body of Christ, gaining strength from one another as we focus on common goals.
Outreach to Others - Reaching out to members of our community through service and inspiring programs shows our committment to growing in discipleship.
Respond to Needs - Service to others can occur within the church (ministry) or outside the church (mission). At Grace Community, there are many opportunities to use your unique gifts and experiences to positively impact others. Your participation can make a huge difference in many different areas.
Equip for Life - Growing spiritually only happens if we make it a priority in our lives. At Grace Community Church, we offer many different Small Groups to fit your age, interests and schedule. We also offer a variety of classes and seminars that address issues facing each of us. We encourage you to join a Small Group or class, to jump start your own spiritual growth. |
