Gleaning:  Gleaning volunteers are needed several times a year.

For the past three years, volunteers from our church have participated in gleaning.  We have had over 100 volunteers, from toddlers to teenagers to 80 year olds, glean  thousands of pounds of corn and tomatoes.    We  meet at 7:15am at the church and car pool to the site.  We will be in the fields for about 2-1/2 to 3 hours and be back about 1:00. 

The Mission Committee organizes a group of gleaners to pick produce which is then donated to the food kitchen.  Gleaning is a great way for young and old to participate in Responding to the needs of others.  To sign up please contact Cindy O'Connell.  You can call her at 561-394-9836.
