Grace Community Church offers a variety of classes and seminars to help us better understand God’s Word. These relevant, topical studies will give you a new perspective on your own faith, and help you tackle the difficult issues facing us today.

Pastor Kirk is teaching a study based on the book, "The Bible for Dummies".  The class meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the El Rio Room.     This is an engaging and entertaining study helping to simplify complicated ideas and help make the Bible relevant to today's issues.  Join in any time.  The study is appropriate for newcomers, bible 'pros', and everyone in between.    For more information, call the church office at 395-2811.                                  

Pastor's Study Notes

We recently completed a Church-wide Small Group Study called "40 Days in the Word."  The study is designed to help us as individuals to take the Bible off our bookshelf, dust it off, and dig in. This study also gives us some practical handles on how to do this AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, by being a Small Group format it gives us a platform to share and grow together with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Divorce Care 4 Kids (DC4K) is offered for children ages 5-12 periodically.  The program is designed for children  whose parents are separated or divorced,  13-weekly sessions combine games, crafts, activities, music and drama to create a fun atmosphere for healing and understanding.  Contact Jane Sackler for more information.  395-2811

Other Classes: Classes on relevant topics like prayer, parenting, leadership, marriage, grieving, babysitting and sharing our faith are also offered on a periodic basis. 

Our Adult Equipping Ministry offers an annual Leadership Conference for all small group coordinators and anyone interested in small groups and bible studies.   Pastor McCormick leads the program to enhance our Study of HIS word and to promote our Small Groups to our Congregation.
